Annie has a dedicated and regular practice at Baja Soul Yoga, her bubbly personality is contagious and we are so happy to have her in this community!
How did you start practicing yoga?
A: I started practicing yoga with my friend and mentor, Desi Bartlett. It was about 20 years ago. Over the years, my practice has changed so many times. Sometimes it has been very physical and other times more meditative in nature. I have practiced all different styles and with many different teachers and I always get something from each.
What is your favorite aspect of the practice?
A: My favortive aspect is of yoga is learning how to calm the mind with the breath, not to dwell on the past or anticipate the future, just stay in the moment.
