I attended my first yoga class in an Aikido martial arts studio at the age of 15 in 2004. Although it was not until years later that I had a consistent practice, I believe this is when the seed was planted. I later fell in love with yoga in my early 20´s during college. I could barely afford the membership costs during that time, so I traded work for free yoga classes at my local studio. I would mop the floors, do the laundry and even clean the bathrooms. I was happy to do it because I felt lucky to spend some extra time with the teachers. I didn't´t know it then, because I had completely different plans for my self and my career, but I had already begun my yoga path.
Years later, I made the decision to follow my heart: travel more, and complete my first 200 hour Hatha Flow Yoga Teacher Training in Oaxaca, Mexico. In 2016 I started teaching yoga in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca. I quickly fell in love with the country as well as having classes to teach and share, with people from all over the world. I´ve continued my training and workshops with Amy Ippoliti of 90 Monkeys School of Yoga in the USA, as well as another 200 hour RYT with Yandara Yoga Institute in Baja California, Mexico. My hope is to continue to learn, share and grow together, in this big, beautiful, world-wide community that is yoga.
