The Myoskeletal Alignment Technique (MAT) with Chase
The Myoskeletal Alignment Technique (MAT) system brings together the most advanced therapeutic strategies to relieve, and ultimately correct, patterns in the body that lead to pain and deterioration. With MAT therapy, clients can reduce pain, avoid invasive surgery and toxic pain medications.
With over a decade of experience, Chase has been using MAT to treat client’s musculoskeletal disorders ranging from poor posture to impinged nerves to sports-related injuries and chronic pain.
The key idea of MAT is that hypertonic (overly tight) antagonistic muscles distort joint anatomy and and neural function. To treat pain you must understand the cohesive nature between soft tissue and osseous tissue. In finding optimal treatment, one must address the cause of pain rather than the location of pain, and by doing so, promote functional movement and balancing the muscular system.
Chase uses a wide variety of techniques gathered from years of training and autodidact research that approaches the human body from a holistic perspective, integrating the relationship between mind and body, function and structure. Techniques include:
Rolfing and Deep Tissue Massage
Muscle Activation Techniques
Facilitated and PNF Stretching
Traditional Rehabilitation exercises and Ashtanga Yoga stretches

“I was one of Chase's first clients. From the first touch I knew he was gifted. I had not been able to bend my knees for more than 10 years, and after working with Chase for a couple of months I was able to get down on the ground kneeling and play with my grandkids. He also corrected the rotation in my left leg so that I no longer was wearing out my left shoe.
My Mother suffered paralysis in her left hand. I took her to Chase, who brought back her ability to grasp things.
I am grateful I was lucky enough to have him in my life. I will travel to Cabo just to get worked on by him.”
“Chase is the best ‘body work’ professional I have ever had. When I was still in college I was in a serious auto accident that took a long time to recover. When I met Chase I was beginning to have some pain in my lower back & right leg. From the very first session I had such relief I became a regular. My whole body was soon better. Wish he was still in the States.”
