Students will review anatomy, breakdown different Sun Salutation sequences, discuss sequencing, the origins of the Sun Salutations, and the purpose of the Sun Salutations in a yoga class. Students will practice healthy and safe ways to jump forward and jump backward and examine in detail the Low Plank (Chatturanga) and Knees, Chest, Chin (Ashta Namaskara). Advanced variations will be taught for intermediate and advanced students and there will be modifications for beginners. Excellent for teachers and students who want to become teachers, and for anyone who wants to learn more about the practice of Sun Salutations in yoga.
